I’m Zac Small, and I’ve come to realize that most of the content online is geared toward distracting individuals from their lives and loved ones.
I’m a Married Father of two (a Son & Daughter), Sober (7-7-2020), an Author, Key Note Speaker, 8 Year Active-Duty U.S. Navy Veteran (two deployments aboard the USS Harry S Truman), and as of 2023, a Photographer.
One thing that has me standing out amongst others in what may come across as a very “normal” life is the odds stacked against me from the onset of life.

My writing is meant to make people aware of what’s happening in the world and (this is the important part) how to use that knowledge to position oneself and family to get ahead in life.

I’ve experienced quite a bit in my time on this Earth, and I’ve made it a point to be open and honest about my failures as much as my successes. That’s what you’re going to find in these published works. I may get a few things wrong, I may introduce you to some uncomfortable subjects, and we may find ourselves outright disagreeing with one another, but everything I release here will be done to generate productive discussions, even if what’s produced is only something of entertainment value.
There’s too much global focus and emphasis on national matters that it’s overshadowing what’s happening at the local level and in one’s mind. I’m here to deliver content to help you see what is happening and show you ways to resist the influence and stay ahead of the trends.

Who?
Zachary Small is the sole owner, writer, and researcher for The Daily Draft with Zac Small
What?
The focus here will be on daily trends, life experiences, and I will also address certain elements unique to me, such as being a veteran, getting sober, losing a parent to suicide, overcoming a less-than-stellar past, and dealing with the many twists and turns I’ve faced along my path in life.
When?
I will drop an article at least 3x a week which paid subscribers will have access to, and at least one of those articles will be available to all free subscribers.
Where?
These articles will be found on The Daily Draft Substack Homepage and received within your email inbox used when registering.
Why?
I want people to win.
I want stronger, more aware peers, and I want your children to win too, as they’ll be the ones growing up with my kids, and so when they win, it means my son and daughter are growing up with a stronger peer group as well.
How?
I normally write a piece the day before I publish; if I know I’m going on vacation with my family or on a retreat with my private men’s community, the Fraternity of Excellence, I will schedule the articles to be published further out.
